Firstlight replaces your new tab page with widgets you arrange yourself: search, clock, weather, to-do, notes, habits, a pomodoro timer, news feeds and more. Everything is stored in your browser, and there's no account.

How it works
Install Firstlight and open a new tab. It starts with a ready-made dashboard: clock, search bar, weather, calendar, bookmarks and more.
Click + to add widgets, such as to-do, habits, pomodoro, RSS, crypto prices or Google Calendar.
Drag widgets anywhere on the grid, resize or collapse them, and lock the layout when you're done.
Pick a wallpaper or daily photo, a light or dark theme, an accent color, a font and a card style.

Plan your day
To-do with due dates and priorities, notes, habits with streaks, countdowns, a pomodoro timer, focus sounds and one intention for the day.
Weather and daylight
Current conditions and a forecast for a city you choose or your location, plus today's sunrise and sunset.
News and more
Any RSS feed, Google News headlines, crypto prices, On this day from Wikipedia and a word of the day.
Google, if you want it
Google Calendar and Tasks with optional sign-in in Chrome. Unread Gmail at a glance with no sign-in, and a Google apps launcher.
Your layout
Drag, resize, collapse and lock widgets on a 12-column grid, or let each one stay exactly where you drop it.
Your look
Six card styles, light and dark themes, accent colors, bundled fonts, built-in wallpapers, your own image or a new photo every day.
Search and bookmarks
Search with suggestions in your default engine, Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing or Startpage. Keep your links, most visited sites and browser bookmarks at hand.
Sync and languages
Optional sync across devices through your browser's own sync. In English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese and Hindi.
Private by design
- No account and no sign-up. Firstlight has no servers of its own.
- Your widgets, notes and to-dos are stored in your browser. Sync is optional and goes through your browser's own sync.
- No analytics, no tracking and no ads.
- Widgets fetch data straight from the service they show, such as Open-Meteo for weather.
- Google sign-in is optional and used only for the Google Calendar and Tasks widgets.
