Fast Tabs 3D privacy policy
Fast Tabs 3D is a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that shows your open tabs as cards in Chrome’s side panel or Firefox’s sidebar.
What Fast Tabs 3D reads
While its panel is open, Fast Tabs 3D reads:
- The title, address and icon of each tab in the current window, to show it as a card.
- A snapshot of what the active tab shows, taken when you switch to a tab or it finishes loading, to show on that tab’s card. Snapshots are kept in memory only while the panel is open. They are never saved or sent.
- Your bookmarks, only when you open the Bookmarks panel. Fast Tabs 3D doesn’t change them.
- Your browsing history, only if you allow it, to suggest up to six matching pages as you type in the new tab box.
Fast Tabs 3D doesn’t run any code on the websites you visit.
What Fast Tabs 3D stores
The pages you star as favorites (address, title and icon address), your light or dark theme, and its tab group settings. All of this is kept in the extension’s local storage on your device. Background images you pick aren’t saved.
What Fast Tabs 3D sends
Fast Tabs 3D has no account, no analytics and no tracking, and we never receive your tabs, bookmarks or history. Some parts of the panel load images from other websites:
- Wallpaper previews in Settings, and a wallpaper you pick, load from Unsplash (
images.unsplash.com). The previews load when the panel opens. These requests carry nothing about your tabs. - Icons for history suggestions load from Google’s icon service (
www.google.com/s2/favicons), which receives the address of each suggested page. This happens only after you allow history search. - Tab and favorite icons load from the address the browser reports for each icon, usually the website itself. In Firefox, bookmark icons load from each bookmarked website when you open its folder. In Chrome, they come from the browser’s own icon cache.
If you type something that isn’t a web address in the new tab box, Fast Tabs 3D opens a Google search for it in a new tab.
